Oona Kare is a Finnish professional actress (FIA) and voice actress. She graduated from the Copenhagen International Academy of Theater (CISPA) in 2020 and has acted in numerous theater, TV, and film roles in Finland and Denmark. Oona has trained e.g. Ivana Chubbuck techniques for camera acting and Uta Hagen Malmgren/Laban and Stanislavski techniques for acting. Most notable roles: The film Capone (Cannes Film Festival) and the main role in the short film Later We Go Home (Austin Lift-Off Film Festival). Latest roles: Murder in Hanko (2023), Lenita Airisto, Smile series (2022), Milka, Exit series (2022). Oona Kare wrote the screenplay and acted in the monologue "Is there red wine in heaven?", for which she was awarded an actor's grant from the Ida Aalberg Foundation (2022). Oona enjoys martial arts, choral singing, classical ballet and writing.
